Description
A George III period mahogany bureau bookcase with dentilled and molded cornice above a pair of good-figured blind doors applied at each corner with turned patera enclosing adjustable shelves. The cleated fall has reading slope and reveals pigeonholes, drawers and two secret compartments strong with boxwood and ebony. Below are four graduated pine-lined drawers. Parallel backboard. Hardware is not original.
