Description

A George III (Regency Period) mahogany Pembroke / Cumberland style dining table with the original patina retaining its beautiful rich colour.   The base known as a Cumberland design with turned columns and reeded sweep feet ending in lion paw brass caps and castors.

Many furnishings from the Regency period were quite innovative, serving more than one purpose or created to conserve space, such as this drop leaf table.
