A rare and fine quality William and Mary burr walnut veneered chest of drawers
Description
A rare and fine quality William and Mary burr walnut veneered chest of drawers decorated with inlays. The top veneered with four burr-walnut panels surrounded by a delicate inlaid marquetry border. The chest with two short and three graduated oak lined drawers retain their original locks and escutcheons but with replaced handles. The drawers are matched with veneered walnut that feature decorations around the drawers. The sides decorated with two large veneer panels and crossbanded. The chest is standing on replaced bun feet. The carcass constructed of pine and drawers of oak. Minor repairs to the veneers and inlays.
