English Antique Bespoke Offering
We are pleased to join forces with a small private country English workshop outside of London, with the specific purpose of building precise, detailed and accurate copies of period English and Irish furniture. These pieces are imbued with the highest level of innate quality and are essentially indistinguishable from the original period pieces from which they have so faithfully been replicated. Some day they will be called antiques themselves.
We have increasingly been asked by clients to assist in making modern and contemporary pieces. We are very happy to work from any plans or working drawings provided, and to have our own in-house team craftsmen assist with a design to comprise the prefect piece to fit today’s home or office. We feel that we have some of the finest and most experienced cabinetmakers, carvers, gilders, polishers, and paint finishers that can be found.
Our work can involve the making of a single piece or everything needed for an entire design scheme. Whatever the case, the same exceptional care and attention to detail is applied to everything that we do – and this in respect of every order that we receive.
Items below are just a small selection of pieces that our team of craftsmen have produced for clients in the U.S. or abroad. Please contact us at any time with questions about your needs as we will be pleased to assist you in finding the right piece for your home or office.
"Our team of craftsmen is able to create almost anything of your choice with either burr or curl-figured walnut together with mahogany, pippy yew, burr elm, rosewood, satinwood, oak, pine and various fruitwoods. We offer hand-painted, ebonised, gilded, and chinoiserie finishes and detailing as required, and as is appropriate to the style and period of piece that you have chosen."
