Early 18th century William and Mary Five Drawer Walnut Chest

A beautiful, well figured William and Mary period walnut chest of drawers . Dating from the late 17th /early 18th century, the chest, with a quarter veneered and geometric inlaid top above two short and three long drawers that have inlaid herringbone decorations. The chest retains a rich colour and is an excellent example of a William & Mary piece of walnut furniture being 300 plus years old. The chest is supported on a molded base with replaced old bun feet.
