Shipping and Returns
RETURNS
If you would like to return the item, you have 5 days from the date of receipt to inform us you would like to return the piece. Full returns instructions will be included with your invoice.
You are entitled to a full refund, but are responsible for paying for the return shipping back to us. Also, the item has to be returned in the condition in which it was received, otherwise we are able to deduct necessary restoration costs from your refund. You will be refunded when the item has been received safely back to our premises.
SHIPPING
Worldwide shipping and packing are available by a reputable art-courier is available through our in house shipping department. The Gallery will be in touch with you within 2 – 3 business days to provide detail of arrangements for delivery. Please note we will need a full address and telephone number (not a PO Box) to ship to.
Some items require export documentation before they can be exported into and out of the United States. For example an export license, or a CITES license for certain materials such as rosewood or ivory. Charlecote will apply for these licenses on your behalf. It might mean shipping is delayed slightly as once the applications are in the system it can take a few weeks before the certification is rubber stamped. We will keep you informed of the applications throughout the process.
For shipping abroad we obtain competitive quotations from our preferred specialist shippers who take care of all the detail and arrange shipping to your door.
TAX
Purchases may be subject to sales, use, excise and other tax in some jurisdictions. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ascertain and pay all taxes due. Buyers claiming exemption from sales tax must have the appropriate documentation on file with Charlecote prior to the release of the property.
