George III Period Satinwood and Gilt Card Table

A fine quality Sheraton Georgian period satinwood and gilt card table having painted and inlaid veneers with swags of flowers and berries cross-banded in rosewood. The satinwood top opens to reveal a replaced baize interior with cross-banded border of rosewood. The simple frieze of gilt on beech or deal on four gilded turned legs. The two rear legs swing outward to allow the top to open fully.
