Hepplewhite Period Serpentine Pembroke Table
Here is a fine example of a Hepplewhite period serpentine Pembroke table. The shaping of the top is complex with moulded edges and rich figuring. The frieze follows the serpentine shaping of the drawers surrpounded with cockbeading. The table standing on slender tapered legs has original brass and leather castors.
