Pair of George III Period Work Tables
A pair of late-18th century Sheraton period cross-banded rosewood work tables stand on square inlaid tapering legs terminating in castors. The tables, fitted with an adjustable upholstered fire screen and drawer to the side, reveal inkwells and a pen tray. The frieze of the tables has a single drawer with a leather writing surface.
