George III Decagonal shaped tortoiseshell with tent top
Georgian period decagonal shaped tortoiseshell tent top tea caddy with each panel divided by very thin, delicate strips of ivory stringing , with a silver hinge. The front featuring a silver framed painted cameo , silver initial plaque and ornate escutcheon. The interior features two original lided compartments with traces of their original foil lining, and two tortoiseshell lids with turned ivory handles.
