George III Green Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy

 

A stunning late 18th century Georgian period Green Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy with Boxwood edging and Sheffield plated, engraved oval pull to aid with lifting its lid and a rectangular escutcheon to the front. The interior of this striking green tea caddy contains two tortoiseshell lids with bone handles, has maroon leather in its lid and is faced in boxwood too.
