George III Tea Caddy in oval form
A beautiful Georgian period oval shaped tea caddy veneered in an unusual rippled satin sycamore. It has beautiful draping inlaid and engraved swags on the front and a wonderful conch sea shell on the top, with ebonised edging. The front has a delicate bone key profile. The interior contains traces of its original lining for keeping the tea fresh. Comes with a non working lock and key.
