Regency Tea Caddy with a Pagoda top and wonderfully figured tortoiseshell standing on four agua nut feet. The panels of this caddy are separated by fine silver stringing, with a silver escutcheon and vacant initial plate on top. (Tagua is a seed grown from a palm tree and is also known as a vegetable ivory due to its hardness and colour). The interior two compartments with matching tortoiseshell lids and turned bone handles comprise the interior of this Regency caddy.
