Expceptional pair of George III Giltwood Mirrors

An exceptional large pair of mid-18th century Chippendale period oval carved giltwood mirrors each with oval mirror plates set within an elaborating carving forming surround carved with C-scrolls, and pierced shell work overlaid with leaves and intertwined with flowers and fruit.
