Regency Period Verre Églomisé Overmantle Miror

An early-19th century Regency giltwood and verre eglomise rectangular overmantel mirror. The breakfront moulded cornice with applied gilt ball decoration above one large and two smaller verre eglomise panels with pastoral scenes in gold and white on a black background. The original mercury silvered large rectangular centre and side plates divided by gilt slips and flanked by carved columns with Corinthian capitals and carved musical instruments above.
